What do you need?
Well, a 4 foot square board ideally, some dice and a ruler. For miniatures, you can get your own 6mm figures from any where to use (we have been using https://www.microworldgames.com/) but all you really need is some square and rectangular bases. All miniatures are either mounted in units of 4, 20mm by 40mm bases or a singular 40mm square base.
How does it play?
Shattered Realms has taken a lot of inspiration from games we (and I am sure you) already know and love. The mechanics of combat are inspired heavily by Hail Ceasar by Warlord Games, unit movement feels similar to many wargames with a strip down feel using formations and facings to help position units in strategically advantagous places. The system of magic is very similar to Warhammer Fantasy.
